A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Such a lovely find. Food was really really nice and amazing service as well."
"Where to start! The service - attentive but still casual, really thoughtful, seemingly natural hospitality skills. Cleanliness - the cutlery was so shiny, I could have used it as a mirror! The side of fruit! It was like a little art piece, not a side! So clean and fresh! Beautiful selection of fruits and soo beautifully presented. At first I was wondering should I order it, because some places if you get chopped fruit it doesn’t seem the freshest. I’m so glad I got it, I was like ‘whoever made this has finesse and quality!’ The dishes in which it was presented were beautiful dimensions, the perfect size and thickness! The patterns and colours were beautiful and again, so shiny and clean. Love how the menu has such a selection of sides. Was there once before and was able to just get 1 vegan sausage :) Felt happily catered for as a vegan even though it’s not a vegan cafe. Oh and where I’m from, loads of cafes don’t do soya milk anymore as they find oat most popular, don’t know if London has the same issue but was definitely glad to see this cafe had soya milk. And rooibos tea :) Lovely homely place with staff who obviously care and put such excellent care in to the whole thing :) Thank you!"
"The best french toast! This is my first time at Blue Owl since it’s new management, I was worried that too much might have changed, but that was unfounded - I’ve just had the most delicious brioche french toast - buttery, crispy on the outside and bouncy inside. I loved the light cinnamon flavour, the sprinkled pistachios and vanilla ice cream (I forewent the golden syrup). Will definitely be back. And the staff were welcoming too. French Toast was £9.5 and Earl Grey £3.10"
"Very friendly service. Fast and very well-prepared food. If we come here again, I would definitely return."
"We visited this brunch spot some time ago, and we still can’t stop thinking about how amazing it was. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavour and prepared with great care. The place has such a cosy, charming atmosphere, creating a lovely vibe that makes you feel instantly comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We genuinely enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a wonderful ambience."
"A colourful, lively café under new, friendly management. The vegan breakfast is amazing and possibly the best we have found in the are so far. The food was tasty, varied, generous and very well-priced; the bubble and squeak and spinach and pomegranate salad in particular were delicious and there was much attention to detail in the beautiful presentation. We will definitely go back and explore any other vegan options available and/or enjoy the breakfast again in a welcoming space."
"Such a nice local cafe with really kind staff and delicious food. I came twice and worked for a couple of hours and they were very accommodating."
"Went for breakfast here this morning with one of the boys. Was served by Isha, she's absolutely gorgeous! Her customer service was amazing, and the diners food was delicious. 100% recommend. Thanks guys for being so hospital!"
